Safepots Private Limited is an Indian scam call center operated by Himalaya Biswakarma and Parveen Gupta that Nanobaiter recently destroyed after they were caught posing as Microsoft. Their ZaubaCorp listing lists them as operating out of D-158 B, Pocket C, Okhla Phase I, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi, Delhi 110020, India.
While they claim to not be associated with any popups, the scammers will have their victims install remote access software to “diagnose” their computer and falsely claim that it was infected with "29 spyware attacking their IP address. This is all to trick their victims into subscribing to their “Windows recommend cybersecurity,” Waredot and, at a later time, paying with Apple gift cards.
The company also appears to have used their employees to generate fraudulent positive reviews on their TrustPilot listing, despite the negative reviews indicating patterns of fraudulent activity. Since April 27, 2022, Bishwakarma and Gupta are also listed as directors of Spykesoft Technologies Private Limited, which is listed as operating out of D-158 B, Near Honda City Showroom, Okhla Phase I, New Delhi, Delhi 110020, India.
Despite claiming to operate as a software development company from New York City, Waredot is actually a subsidiary of Minds Insider Private Limited under the leadership of Ganesh Bishwakarma and Sanjeev Sewa since November 30, 2022. Their ZaubaCorp listing indicates that they operate out of B1/H3, GROUND FLOOR, MATHURA ROAD MOHAN CO-OPERATIVE IND. AREA DELHI South Delhi DL 110044 IN.
The scammers also operate as Capebera to pose as Windows recovery scammers, with employees answering as Microsoft.
