Vacation scam network

After receiving a call regarding a vacation I had won I decided to get some information. They were willing to give me a website but would not give some basic information like specific properties and what company they represented. Their websites are really basic and all were made pretty recently.

They not only run one site but multiple sites. I wanted to document this somewhere:
Ocean Dreams International oceandreamsinternational.com 1 (800) 831-6721
Go Cruise Vacations www.gocruisevacations.com 1 (800) 757-7312

Sandbreak Vacations sandbreakvacations.com 1 800 835 0685
Sun Cruise International suncruiseinternational.com 1 (800) 993-3290

Refined the search and found more. Here is a more complete list:

@FallinNcalln#157809 Great research

see if they are connected to Amazing Blue Vacations

http://scammer.info/d/431-vacation-scams

These scammers are serviced by lead generators.

Sometimes there is a lot of info available on the websites about who is behind it all.

I looked at Amazing Blue Vacations and I do not suspect they are related.

They do have some similarities like they both like Domains by Proxy and their pages are similar. However, looking at is the sites I list usually have a terms and conditions whereas ABV does not. Also ABV lists specific resorts in their network. I will look at it later tonight when I have time.

@myjackcity#157872

Thanks for the link. Alright, not really sure where I stand now. I looked through the sites posted in the thread you linked did a little digging and did not expect to find so many. I didn't link those sites to the ones I posted but I am far more suspicious the company behind it is the same.

So here are all of the sites I found related using some simple Google searches based on key portions of the sites found, mainly using their promotions page.

The newest of these sites were registered November of 2019 where the ones I posted previous range from late last year to about a week ago. Either these are related or there is a copy-cat. I can't help but remember trying to do this for one of these sites last year and just loosing interest too quickly.

I am sure I have missed some. Just from my initial searches I am noticing they like to reuse phrases and pictures.

Confirmed they are all one in the same.

Found one of their DNS registrations not protected. based on past information the name is likely fake.

Found their recruit mainly in Monterrey through Facebook and other media websites using a front named Mayavak. They prefer WhatsApp communications:

They even have a neat recruitment video:

So crazy part is using their webnode site I can find many many many other businesses run but I kept the scope to just the Vacation side where things are certainly underhanded.

I am very certain this all links together. However, I am open to any additions or criticisms. My main concern is just getting an archive of all of these sites so people can easily find this information when getting called.

@FallinNcalln#158129

Excellent work! I presume that you use search operators? And yes, I definitely 100% agree with you. My presumption is that they buy one or two website themes (or create/copy an open source one) and just edit the site/business name, logo and phone number. Many of them are CMS based websites so this makes it easier for them. I don't think they would invest that much in unique content because it can get pricey, plus these sites go down fast so I think it's more economical for them to use the same phrases over and over, with the exception of changing business names. Sometimes, they don't catch their mistakes.

I mainly use these search operators: intext: or inurl: They might be simple but frankly, I think they are quite fruitful. Using "" also helped me out refining my search.

I also like to look at their sitemap file and use site: to see the pages on their website. Noindex pages can have some juicy info sometimes.

Sometimes, I tend to look at their SSL certificate and it can sometimes lead to a company that was issued the certificate. That name can be the main company or another affiliated business.

If it's ok, can you share your method on how you got these results?

Thank you! :)

I didn’t have to get that complex with my searches. I usually did strings of text used on their site. I would just put the string into quotations in Google to get a good swath of them. For example, it looks like almost all of them use jotformpro.com to allow for people to request their vacation. In the form it contains the text “Resort/Hotel Partners does not accept any liability for failure to provide the services contracted”. Drop that entire field into Google with quotes will give good feedback on their latest active sites (make sure to click repeat the search with the omitted results included).

From there it was linking the sites by searching for them individually which would pull up other scammer.info posts or even travelocity posts where people did their own digging (including the post above from myjackcity) .
On some of the older sites the whois info could be gathered to get email addresses. Once they lead to social media I was able to search those names as well.

I think mixing in the search operators would yield more results (which I know there are more). I am probably going to set aside a night and try to find more info.

New domain started a few days ago:

Sun Palm Vacations sunpalmvacations.com 1 (800) 897-1063

Found a few more that were active as of late and wanted to document them. Book VIP was just registered:

Great research FallinNcalln. I stumbled across this thread when trying to look up sunpalmvacations.com when trying to find their info for filing a TCPA lawsuit against them. Has anyone been able to link this scam group to a US based company?

Excellent research. I also stumbled across this when hoping to find info on “traveldiscounts.com.mx.”. It was marketed as a timeshare company offering packages to visit properties, w/presentation included. I researched prior to purchasing an all inclusive vacation package last Feb. Then Covid hit. I spoke with 2 different agents prior to May, as well as email contact. However, I’ve not received email responses since May and the only # I have for the company is no longer in service.

They ditch and turn off numbers apparently as the cycle through company names. I think they do it to prevent bad reviews from accumulating. Call one of these other numbers, many go to the same travel desk and try your reservation number. Worse they can do is hang up.

Their latest creation is mycaribbeanvacationinternational.com , 1 (888) 889-6623

They are 100% a scam.

Their email address are made up non-sense is another red flag: [email protected]

They are using a $29 WordPress theme across their websites.
https://themeforest.net/item/tilmonial-responsive-html5-template/24843810

And if you copy any of the text from their website and run a simple google search, you will find that their website text is copied word for word from other websites across the web. Sometimes with the city name swapped out. (Ex: Chateau Morritt replaced by Mont-Tremblant)

Going to do what I can to look into legal action against them but please report them to the FTC: https://www.ic3.gov/
If enough voices bring attention to this, the government will get involved. They are a mexico based company though so I'm not sure where the legal jurisdiction comes into play.

Unfortunately, I have gotten involved because they are actively trying to scam my retired and guilable mother who has already provided them financial information. I'm very pissed off.

I'll post more information as I uncover it. Adding my Computer Science experience into the investigation.

I'm just hoping to prevent additional victims.

Also provided is an example of their scam emails sent to my mother after she gave them information:

I'm mostly upset with my mother who has already provided them alot of personal information as well which is a safety hazard. Please be aware of this scam.

Preying on the elderly is simply despicable.

@Raoden#167371 I am sorry to hear about that. It is disgusting how predatory their practices are. While you can’t change what happened make sure they can’t get her for more.

Meant to reply to your post a while back but got sidetracked bad and forgot about everything.

One of the groups I wanted to look into, mainly because I think they use the same call center, is Vallarta Gardens. There is an excellent thread on Tugbbs, a timeshare forum, about Vallarta Gardens and how people handled situations like yours (if you haven't found it already) . The thread is "Beware of Vallarta Gardens (2014)". There is a lot of good information about how to contact Profeco, the Mexican Consumer Protection agency as well as other good information.

@FallinNcalln#157794I received several phone calls today from phone number 1-877- 894-9614 from a person supposedly named Daniel Moreno who can be reached at extension 7110. The person said he was calling from vacations by Marriott to offer a discounted hotel accommodations and cruise package. They said I would have 8 years to use my vacation and I can cancel no questions within 30 days. Unfortunately, I fell for it and I shared my credit card information. I was then transferred to a different person by the name of David Anderson supposedly. This person’s duty is supposedly to verify my credit card information. He said he worked for Beach cruise reservations which is a subsidiary of vacations by Marriott… He said his phone number is 877-887-3120 extension 2012. He also asked for my driver’s license but I refused to send it because I felt it wouldn’t be right to share that information.

I tried to google the company but nothing came up because I was searching for Beach cruise vacations instead of beachcruisevacations.com

I later found out that there were other reports complaining of scams when I googled beachcruisevacations.com but it was too late because they had already charged me $777.02. They promised a receipt and detailed information through email but I did not receive any of that. I called back Daniel to ask for a refund and he said the only way he would refund me is if I sent an email asking for cancelation which I did but he also wanted me to attach a copy of my license which I did not feel it would be right to send.

I hung up and called my credit card company and filed a dispute for the transaction.

I wanted you to be aware of this because I am sure they are scamming others, frauding credit card companies, and maybe even involved in identity theft!

Please share this information. Let's stop these scam artists!
