FCC Could Block Over 2,400 Providers from Robocall Mitigation Database

On December 10, 2024, the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced that 2,411 voice service providers have failed to properly file in the Robocall Mitigation Database. As such, these carriers face removal from the database, which would mean that all other providers will be prohibited from accepting call traffic from these providers.

And this list includes several providers of scam numbers that we’ve been keeping an eye on for a while, such as:

ALCAZAR NETWORKS, INC.

• Has hosted tech support, Amazon and Social Security scams.

AIRUS, INC.

• A subsidiary of Infobip that also operates as Peerless Network.
• Has been known to carry tech support, refund, IRS, loan, Medicare, PCH, SSA and Spectrum scams

Infobip: Fraud Support Experience (Case Study)

Infobip is a telecom based in Croatia. Like many of telecoms/VOIP providers, Infobip also houses many smaller wholesalers under their umbrella, like Peerless & the Airus network. Prior to Infobip acquiring Peerless, the customer support services and response for time for Peerless in regards to fraud has been mixed to negative based on our own personal experience. KNOT NETWORKS, LLC

• Now does business as Freedom Call Services
• Largely carries tech support and refund scam numbers
• Has masked their numbers under T-Mobile lines.
• Operates the @helpknotnetworks account under Indian IP addresses.

TELCOLINE, LLC

• One of the largest hosts of tech support and refund scam numbers.
• Has closes ties to RingOnCore Private Limited, who operate out of Delhi, India.
• Reported numbers are listed as “unknown suspected telcoline”

I agree! About time to! The other nasty, filthy sleazy despicable people, in my opinion, are: FRACTEL, Telnyx, Onvoy/Inteliquent, IP Horizon/HFA Holdings and Commio. So glad to see Airus/Peerless Network on this list. Pure degenerates from a lovely sunny nation of Croatia!

There is a total of 5,000+ foreign voip carriers operating openly in the US. The majority of them are located in the Phillipines, India or Pakistan. There are also quite a few operated by Chinese, Singaporean or even Russian nationals. The question for the FCC is: WHY is it even allowed? Isn’t it obvious that such “carriers” are established and operated with the one and only objective - to scam, defraud and harass the US public?

Our government is clearly too stupid, corrupt and incompetent to protect our national security!
