Infobip is a telecom based in Croatia. Like many of telecoms/VOIP providers, Infobip also houses many smaller wholesalers under their umbrella, like Peerless & the Airus network.
Prior to Infobip acquiring Peerless, the customer support services and response for time for Peerless in regards to fraud has been mixed to negative based on our own personal experience. Peerless, like Infobip, had many other wholesalers on their network. Reporting a number on the Peerless network via email would often produce a stock auto reply from Peerless, stating that the report was forwarded to the wholesaler in question, but no further updates would be provided most of the time. One would have to call the number and verify to check if the wholesaler in question took the number down or acted upon the original report. The very few instances where an update was provided, the reported numbers were taken down.
Now that Infobip has acquired Peerless, customer support for reporting fraud has been negative. Should one email Infobip about a scam number either on the Peerless network or on Infobip, one will receive a stock auto reply stating that the report has been sent to the wholesaler in question but no further updates are ever provided. Numbers are taken down sometimes days after they have been reported with 0 updates from either Infobip, Peerless or the wholesaler in question, provided they are taken down at all.
One must call the number back to verify if it is still up or not.
. This post will catalogue all Infobip/Peerless numbers that we come across that are or were being used to facilitate phone scams.
. Important: If you would like to report a number on Peerless, you may contact Infobip at the following email addresses: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] & [email protected]
Please be detailed in your report. Be kind and patient and make sure to call and check the number you reported if a response is not given to you after the confirmation email from Infobip.
