Spectrum (844) 341-4900 "Target gift cards"

Scam Number: (844) 341-4900
Scammer’s Website or Email: none
Additional information about this scam: Not sure where I found the number, but they answer as Spectrum. They are like xfinity. Scammer said they are doing a promotion for existing customers, so I just said I was confused about the cards and they perked right up. Gave me a “payments department” number, they are asking for Target gift cards, they are quick to block so I just told them “I got the gift cards”.

Billing dept: (844) 930-0867

I checked for duplicate and found none.

NEW NUMBER - 855-660-6911

“Hi there. I’m calling you from Spectrum to let you know that your Spectrum account is qualified for 50 percent off. In order to avail the discount, call us back at 855-660-6911.”

The company was recently investigated by my local NBC affiliate, WHEC. The scammers will claim you can earn 50% off on your next bill for the next two years, and were able to gain access to the reporter’s checking account.
