Great job, @OfclyGoodenough!
The call center is in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
I’m calling for the first time. I pressed 3 for Technical Support. I’m on hold with the hold music playing. I do not remember hearing this particular hold music before. (I am waiting for a worker to come to the house to do some work, so I thought I’d call some criminals while I wait. Of course it would be nice to have an EXACT appointment time rather than having a 4 hour window during which he is supposed to arrive.)
FINALLY a guy answered. He said his fake first and last names. He said he is [R-something] Gellar. It sounded like ROZE that has an ‘O’ sound that sounds like the word FLOWS. I asked him to spell his first name and he said R O S S.
I am on the phone now with him.
They currently have 402 active numbers active which are now running the Spectrum menu and script
Some numbers have transferred from the traditional Comcast X-finity menu
There is still around 45 Comcast X-finity numbers remaining
There was 1914 Comcast X-finity toll free numbers but they had a little accident hence the sudden switch to the Spectrum script
They sort of had heart failure when they were inundated on hundreds of numbers simultaneously with tens of thousands of calls
That’s a real shame
But I don’t know a lot about anything unfortunately
@BiggusPrickus, if anybody can ruin the day of a group of criminals, it is you!
Still answering, just incredibly slow. Crappy hold music. Quick to block. Ask for “Keith”.
Refusing to answer my quick survey from questions here: A never-ending collection of questions to ask your Scammer
I am on call now with “Liam Brown” though he had to spell it for me at my request as I could not understand him when he first said his fake first and last name.
Do you know how to spell the verb enunciate so that you can consult an English dictionary to learn what you CANNOT do when your criminal mouth tries to defraud people in English?
UPDATE: My interview with Newberry will be featured on News10NBC at 5:00 (EST) under their “consumer alert” segment. You can watch live at https://www.whec.com/livestream/
Just watched it! Great interview @OfclyGoodenough , kudos
Dude, I had to log in just to reply to this. That’s fucking amazing!
855-660-6911 … Just now I called and “Diana Wilson” answered as Spectrum.

[/quote]can someone help me get this number shut down
I just called this number (833) 642-2483 from both my TextNow number and TextMe number, and I think I have not called this number before. In the past in this thread I called a different number and got through.
My two calls to (833) 642-2483 resulted in the robo voice message about how the number I have dialed is not in service. So maybe this (833) 642-2483 is down already, unless they are just taking a break and they will resume using it.

they must have blocked your number
Onvoy line
can u help get this number shut down plz help
Easy as pie. But after looking at it…
It sounds like a Comcast Line.
Yeah, I have noticed in the past that at least sometimes when I get “number you have dialed is not in service” it could mean that my TextNow and TextMe numbers have been blocked.
It was fun while it lasted though!
