“Steven” answered as “suppoat” and “PayPal” and falsely claimed my account was compromised to make the purchase from the Russian Federation, prompting me to “cancel” by “opening the Google Chrome” and downloading ConnectWise from mvdr.site (Code: 62GE95Z IP: 172.67.178.238 ).
I faked the download not working, and the scammer hung up on me.
Vonage, answers as “McAfee” and falsely claimed I signed up for a free trial to McAfee back in 2022, prompting me to “cancel” by “opening the Google Chrome” and downloading ConnectWise from mvdr.site (Code: 97mb26m, IP: 172.67.178.238 ).
I faked the download not working, and the scammer hung up on me. I called the number back and “Daniel” falsely claimed my identity was stolen to make this fraudulent subscription, prompting me to run UltraViewer (ID: 69002170/DESKTOP-69).
