The US is the only English speaking nation where words use the letter “z” in place of the normal “s”
The letter “u” is dropped from a lot of words also from the correct spelling
I’ve changed a lifetime of spelling habits from an associate diploma degree in English literature back in 1988, to use the US spelling all the time now.
Since I’ve lived in the US for about 20 hours a day for the last 3 years, I’ve adapted from what I knew my entire life anyway.
I’ve seen both spellings’es’es’es of every word for the last 247 years
