Currently baiting them with a virtual machine.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:
- The scammer will claim an “attempt of hacking” took place within the past 48 hours, prompting you to install “Microsoft Temporary Securities” by minimizing the popup and running UltraViewer, which they claim “Microsoft gave you a temporary ID and password for.”
- Once the scammer remotely connects to your computer, they will have you run the “netstat” command in the Command Prompt so they can claim over 9 hackers have access to your computer and IP address.
- After you run the “tree” command, the scammer will claim he removed “4 hackers” from your network and have you run the “netstat” command again to claim your phone line was also compromised and ask if you do any online banking or shopping.
- The scammer will then claim that hackers used your identity to visit “illegal websites” betonline.com and pornhub.net at 4:23 AM, prompting you to do a “final scan” with the “dir/s”
- Once the “final scan” is complete, the report will read that Chinese hackers used your financial information to DOWNLOAD CHILD PORN FROM PORNHUB with the Clampi virus.

- You will then be asked to check your emails and your “online banking.” Since I don’t do online banking, the scammer will transfer your call to a fellow employee who posed as a “representative with your bank” before monitoring your device for 48 hours. I don’t have the time for them to do so, so I instead played them the Bhenchod Song.
