Additional information about this scam: The callers robocalled the crap out of me today and yesterday. They are claiming that there are “numerous government liens against me for unpaid taxes”. Needless to say, it is untrue and they are scammers! Impersonating the government entities is a crime, and they do not even know my name!
Called the first 3 number got the automated voice asking me to press 1 which I did and then the call disconnects. Called back instant disconnect instantly.
I hear the same sort of thing which is adapted to Medicare, Tax forgiveness and credit consolidation loans.
They’re everywhere in large consecutive blocks in multiple area codes amongst other types of nonsense robocalling bullshit, often that Google business listing garbage which has tens of thousands of numbers. I can link them all to the same operation easily because after 5 calls using the same caller ID it diverts to a different menu or this mailbox is full message. Changing caller ID’s begins the countdown process again for whatever different scam they are operating in any area code
They all have a load of different names both male and female introducing themselves in the menu.
The majority of them do nothing but disconnect immediately when prompted to press 1
They usually have toll free or a dedicated call back number for them

It says to call that number if you want to be placed on the do not call list, but that’s not what it actually is. It’s a fake way to get people to call the number, which has nothing to do with removing your number, it connects to the call centre and some idiot then tries to extract whatever information from the caller as they can.
It also verifies the caller ID as a real number which then gets sold onto robocall lists and passed around to all their other campaigns for further harassment, knowing it is a genuine verified number which a real person will hear their robocall bullshit.
The supposed American agent said they worked for “Clear Choice.” When he couldn’t find the fake name I provided, he went straight for the SS number, and I know the person who transferred the call was still listening.
