On March 17, 2024, or St. Patrick’s Day, I was tipped by @demurragereports on a RingCentral line being used by an Indian call center posing as McAfee. While I was gathering data for my report, I received a callback from one of the bhenchodes who revealed themselves as Genisis Technology Solutions Private Limited, a "leading cloud consulting services firm founded by Matta Vamsi Krishna and Ravikiran R. Bollu on December 30, 2021.

Despite claiming to operate out of Hillsborough, New Jersey and Oakville, Ontario, Canada, their call center is actually located on the 5th floor of the Dwarka Signature building at Flat No 5A, 5th Floor, Plot # 14D/1, Dwaraka Signature, Jai Hind Enclave, Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana, 500033.

Throughout the course of my investigation, I have found that the scammers have knowingly impersonated

The scammers could still be on their day shift, doing legitimate work. Once their night shift rolls in, they’ll gladly provide “suppoat”
