Free Financial Aid Subsidy +1 (346) 273-1109

“William” from “Financial Aid Department”. Claims my number was “shortlisted” by the USA government for free financial aid subsidy, also told me it’ll take 2-3 days for UPS to deliver it. Additionally claimed they might give me free internet too → Will then transfer you to the “Verification Team”, but prior to that told me specifically to discuss only about the internet?? Also told me if I wanted to, then to call their separate toll free number +1 (844) 655-4289.

“Michelle” then answered, blah blah blah about the internet. Transferred me to the “Senior Licensed Agent” to explain to me the benefits, prices regarding the internet etc.

I was then transferred FINALLY to who sounded like an American! “Alex Marshall” wouldn’t tell me anything about the company, claimed the company name was XYZ (??) in California and I could find it on google. Hung up, “Michelle” picked up the bounce back call. She also got pissed about me telling “Alex” I was simply ‘transferred’. They want me to not say stuff like that for some reason. She reconnected me to another agent, “Elijah” answered. They continue to claim they are “authorized resellers” working with all the internet companies just depending on the address of the victim, claimed their company name is XYZ (??? WHAT THE FUCK), claimed they have no website and when I asked for their company address, he hung up again.

This is the most stupidest script I’ve ever heard in my life. “William” originally said he couldn’t even tell me the amount, I’d speak to the team first and get an EMAIL confirming the amount? But instead it’s all about internet scam? Call centre.

EDIT: In the middle of the original call, I received a missed call from +1 (855) 460-4133; “Thank you for calling an authorised dealer, a sales specialist will help you shortly” and turns out this is the “XYZ” company number. I just called back… “Zack” told me their website is https://xyzies.com/ and his extension number is 1171 incase the call gets disconnected.

The carrier for this number is a company called Acefone. Their email is [email protected]. If I were you, I would send them the following demand:

"To whom it may concern,

I am writing to demand immediate cessation of all communications from your client, who contacted me earlier today. Despite repeated requests, the client has persistently engaged in harassing phone calls to my number, which is prominently listed on the Federal Do Not Call (DNC) Registry.

These actions flagrantly violate federal laws, specifically the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR). Your client has neither my express prior written consent (PWC), nor a pre-existing business relationship that would permit such communications under these regulations.

Therefore, I insist that Acefone takes immediate action to ensure your client ceases all contact with me. Furthermore, I expect that Acefone will promptly disconnect the client for their egregious breach of federal law.

Please be advised that failure to comply will result in formal complaints being lodged with the appropriate regulatory authorities against Acefone for facilitating illegal robocalls and violating DNC regulations.

I expect your immediate response confirming the actions taken to resolve this matter.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
