The scammer attempted to send multiple cold calls to my Google Voice line, which marked their number as “spam,” in order to try and sign me up for a “government grant/tax credit subsidy under the Affordable Care Act.” Once I was “qualified,” “Ben Cooper” transferred my call to a “licensed agent in my state.”
The first office they transferred to was closed at the time of the call, so they instead transferred me to Stephanie from the “healthcare enrollment center,” who claimed to be from the “marketplace” and not any specific business. Subsequent calls go to the voicemail for “Extension 10001”
