I was searching sites.google.com for the terms “code” and “activate” and came upon this page claiming to be Turbotax:

https://sites.google.com/view/activate-turbotax-com/

The button at the top of the page leads through a series of redirecting urls to

https://tu.activatenow.pro/ , which no matter what “code” is entered, responds with the fake error page https://tu.activatenow.pro/ActivationErrorFound .

I called and was greeted by “Shadav how can I help you?” I asked if this was Turbotax and he said he was with “Webinfotech which provides service for Turbotax.” But he refused to tell me his favorite color.

“Web Infotech” might be this company, whose U.S. “business address” is a suburban home in New Jersey.

Number is constantly busy when I call it. Interesting story though. I really wanted help getting my turbo tax to work for a nominal fee of course.

Bandwidth.com via ZipWhip, “Shiram” picked up from Web InfoTech,

Web InfoTech, LLC is an Indian scam call center founded by Mihir Shah in Englishtown, New Jersey, on June 14, 2006 according to their Bizapedia listing. The company has also impersonated Facebook to claim someone from Nigeria hacked into your account and request payment through a $500 Google Play gift card, according to a user report on ScamPulse.

It would appear SelectQuotes Seniors are a Broker and their website resolves to www.selectquote.com by doing a company name search into google.

856 554 9676 worked but it took like 15 seconds of dead silence before it started ringing. I talked to an Indian asshole that confirmed what you said. Now it seems they blocked my number after that 1 phone call LOL.

Interesting…When I called the 855 755 1940 number I got life protect 24/7. (Or so they claimed to be.) In the process of determining if it’s an imposter or not.

Sounds to me like the TurboTax scammers released the toll free number and it got taken by a “scam roulette” company like Comet Media.
