Additional information about this scam: So basically it is an SSA script. Word of note, if you want to bait them, they WILL look up the NPI number for the doctor name you give. NPI numbers are publicly available so anyone can find those.
The “agent” will tell you the story about some controlled substances being found in Texas, but they won’t explain what the issue is.

They will offer to “help” you clear things up, so I assume they will ask for payment that way. I am talking to them now. Have fun!

They are stupid. DEA uses Google Voice now. Even after I called from different numbers he was still calling me doctor.
