I don't think it's Bob. The most likely explanation is that the scammers have blocked the SIP trunk that it's using. That's been happening a bit with some of the providers I use lately.
These are quite fun to call though. I like how if you hit them with a call flooder it tells you where you are in the queue for each call. It's quite satisfying watching their queue get longer and longer.

Better Business Bureau is advising consumers to use caution when considering doing business with American Automotive Service Solutions. BBB has received a pattern of consumer complaints alleging consumers receiving unsolicited phone calls and mailers, misleading sales tactics, failure to cancel the consumer’s policy after cancellation was requested, failure to provide a refund, failure to honor the contract and poor customer service.
On October 7, 2019, BBB mailed a letter to the business with its concerns. The company did not respond.

lets face it , everyone is getting aware of the ssa and tech scammers its all over youtube as jokes at this point, so wat we all turn a blind eye to our own people scamming our grandmothers now
