@JimBrowning11#109788 Absolutely fascinating! I know more than a fair amount about Scientology. “Going Clear” brought the lunacy to light. The highest level of advancement was comical. Hand-drawn space aliens and saucers. I also read the book by the current head’s daughter and her details about the Sea Org were horrific. How anybody could belong and donate to that organization is mind-blowing.
Ties in quite well with Telemarketing fraud, actually. A means to an end.
These guys have been around for a long while. They tend to use their signature “as we are not getting a valid response we are going to disconnect the call” line against scambaiters.
@Consuela#109861 A funny thing you can do is start saying that same line as soon as they answer. Keep repeating it. It seems like they are required to get that line out in its entirety and they will literally keep repeating it along with you. I’ve had one do it six times because he couldn’t get the whole thing out due to my incessant repeating of the phrase. All of them will say it at least two or three times if you do this. Strange.
Just managed to get one call through on the +1-239-294-8193 number. Spoke to “Chivan”?
Asked him what was wrong with the telephone numbers. He said “technical difficulties”
I asked if he was sure they weren’t getting attacked for being scammers, and he went to “As I am not getting a valid response I have to disconnect this call”
Tried the other new number https://bobrtc.live/phonebook/dial/12392948184 but couldn't get through
They just had both numbers up for about 10 minutes (after beingdown for an hour) but then took them back down. They keep trying but our persistence must be aggravating the hell out of them. Can’t scam without live phone lines. Love BobRTC!
I got quite a few calls through to PTS last night (about 7pm UK time) on their 2 new numbers.
I keep asking them what's wrong with their toll-free numbers that are no longer available. They cite "technical problems".
Pretty sure even the lowest of their telephone monkeys know that something is wrong and they are being targetted.
Am I right in thinking that while we were bombarding their toll-free numbers, it was costing them money? But now they've got ordinary USA numbers, our bombardment isn't costing them? It's just wasting their time, tying up their lines and annoying them?
they are the only scammers i called using bobrtc when it first came out … i would dial them non stop for at least 5 hours and make them everytime say ; as this is not a professional call i ll have to disconect it … until they shut that number down
