My company was scammed by them. Below I will paste our story. We have done our investigation and reached other companies scammed by Apptunix. Together we have put a website ( it’s still under construction and still doesn’t look good enough, but will be better), as we feel extremely helpless. Some of those companies have filed lawsuits in the courts (they were scammed for 15, 30 and even 80k US dollars), but nothing came out of that, because Apptunix is based in India and we are all over the world.
We have contacted Police, Action Fraud, Interpol, FBI and few other “scam departaments”. We have lost our hope that we will ever be able to get our money back from them, but we don’t want anybody else to suffer, like we did.

That’s the story related to my company:

We were approached by Apptunix via Whatsapp. Before any conversation with them started, we had already done our research on them. Very professional website, offices in the UK, US, UAE, India, plenty of good reviews on Clutch, Trustpilot, Goodfirms, LinkedIn etc… everything seemed very promising.

On the 13th of September 2022 we signed the contract and paid the first half of the fee to Apptunix.

All of the conversations with them were done either through Whatsapp, or Slack. We were promised an app within 3 weeks. After those 3 weeks, they showed us something which resembled a demo version of a pre-existing taxi app, with our logo on it. They told us that in order to receive delivery of the app, we would first need to pay the rest of the fee, which we did. However we got nothing in return. The app wasn’t ready. We started to push them, but every time we received empty promises about the app, that it was nearly ready, some features needed to be adjusted, etc etc. There was always something that they still needed to work on… until suddenly they just stopped answering our phone calls. In the end we had to pretend to be new customers, in order for them to get in touch with us.

In April 2023 they claimed that our app was finally ready. It wasn’t however, nothing on it worked. The product itself looked like it had been stolen from another company and they had simply replaced the other company’s branding with our logo.

Eventually we had had enough of waiting, it was clear to us that this company was never going to be able to deliver anything. We asked for a refund. They refused, stating that they had put lots of time and effort into the project, where in fact they had done absolutely nothing for months.

We decided to sue the company at which point we discovered that the company is non-existent, either in the UK, US, or UAE.

We put our review on Trustpilot, which quickly was flagged by Apptunix and 3 positive reviews (all very suspiciously from India) appeared in its place. That’s when we started to understand their tactics better, and to get an understanding of the way they gained so many good reviews. Their insolence extended so far as to even publish a fake review on Trustpilot using my name, obviously written in a positive light. It probably goes without mention that this review was also posted from India.

We have done our private investigation to discover how fake the company really is. Fake offices (redirected phone numbers from other countries to make it look more legit), fake numbers about their growth, stolen feature apps displayed as their own, fake profiles, reviews and fake testimonials.

Apptunix tries to pose as a huge, stable company with international connections. In reality there is just one office in India, mainly employing inexperienced interns, who come and go, after being used and later released having become surplus to requirements in the eyes of the CEO (the salary of an intern is lower than that of a more senior worker, so after one year, they are replaced with new interns ). The company as such has no idea of how to go about starting, building and finishing a project.

I noticed that (these two ids @illoneczka @MehNamesJeff ) have been consistently engaging in activities that are not only in violation of the guidelines of your esteemed platform but are also severely damaging the reputation of Apptunix. It appears that these individuals are intentionally spreading false information and engaging in behavior that goes against the principles of this platform.
This requires immediate attention and resolution!
As a happy customer of Apptunix, I have had nothing but positive experiences with their products/services. I personally visited their UAE office and met the managers directly to share my business plans. It deeply troubles me to see the company being subjected to unwarranted criticism that could potentially harm its standing in the market.
I kindly request your prompt intervention to investigate and take necessary action against (these two ids @illoneczka @MehNamesJeff )
