Here’s the chat transcript:

What information do we have besides IP Address?

Update 2: Here’s another great conversation I had with them:

They have closed the chat btw, not me.

I tried dropping an e-mail. No reply so far.

My Favourite way of stopping these scams. Just contact the api owner and get the api shut. leaves the scam site as an empty shell. Makes the scammers pay for something that isnt being used.

A Whois search shows that they are in Himachal Pradesh, India and that their registar is GoDaddy.

They are active again, with a new live chat service.

Apparantly asking to handle it in chat when they ask for a phone number and name is not a good idea. They closed the chat. :frowning:

Made sure to send a few hundred messages to their contact form and report abuse to their chat host, I hate these kind of scammers

I’m a bit busy right now, does anyone mind writing an abuse email to their host?

E-mail sent to both of them.

Doesn’t hurt if more people do it. It might spark more attention.

On it!
