Popup is promoting the Hype Style Co. smart watch as an Apple Watch Series 7. While promoted as a free giveaway, users will be charged $6.85 for shipping and handling, along with $86 for a subscription to the ActivCiti fitness app every month if they don’t cancel after a 6-day period.

Address above is where texted link goes to. Take a survey and you could win an Apple watch. Uses T-mobile branding and has “reviews” listed from previous survey takers. Does and IP address check if you take the survey, Claims only one Apple watch in stock, tells you to claim reward. Takes you to smartfashiondaily.com for shipping charges and info. Branding on new site says “Hype Style Co”. Encourages users to us their Mastercard by offering a 28% discount on the $6.85 shipping. Terms and conditions state that the site is owned by ActivCiti Gadgets and you are automatically set up with a subscription to their fitness app for $86 monthly! Billing will first occur 6 days after the order of the free Apple watch. They set up a Flexpay option automatically, creating a split payment of $57.99 and $27.99 charged 7 days apart. Easy way to hike up insane charge-back or NSF fees :frowning:
