@mangomonster#132605 Yesterday I called what was listed as Travel Scam but an officer of the Social Security Administration answered the call. So yeah, mid-day they may have changed “campaigns”.
@mangomonster#132605 I called back and it appears they are now forwarding to a valid company - Life Protect 24/7. They do those medical alert things for “help me I’ve fallen and I can’t get up”. I spoke at length with the sales lady - as Grandpa, a nice 65 year old gentleman who was inquiring because his kids were worried about him living at home alone. They are offering a “special promotion” of the alert button and activation for free, including shipping it to you - and you just pay the monthly monitoring fee. It all seems legit and google didn’t turn up anything but life alert stuff for that company.
I have observed, some phone numbers of scammers are used in round robin fashion. When Indian scammers are not picking the phone, the phone connects to "lead generator’
