On June 13, 2025 (Friday the 13th), the Spanish Fort Police Department in Alabama ARRESTED 23-year-old Chinese national Xiahezhati Xiaokelaiti for his role as a money mule for a Social Security scam, where:
- The scammers will send fraudulent text messages to their victims, in this case an elderly female, under the guise of a US Marshall acting on behalf of the US Treasury.

- The scammers made the text more convincing by also including an image of their victim.
- In order to avoid being “arrested” for wire fraud and laundering money through several foreign bank accounts, the victim was asked to withdraw $400,000 from her bank account, convert them into gold bars and hand it off to a designated courier, or money mule.
Xiaokelaiti was arrested on miscellaneous theft charges and remains held in the Baldwin County Jail on a $10,000 bond. However, since he is in the country illegally after entering on a student visa that has since been revoked due to no longer taking classes, I hope this clown enjoys GAUTMO!
