Additional information about this scam: I received a voicemail that said that the call was to remind me that my xFinity deal of 50% off has expired today (lol i don’t even have xfinity)
can somebody find out if this number is real or not
it was some lady had answered

They’ll get your info first (address and phone#) then put you hold hold so they can call the real Xfinity to verify your account.
@aservw How can they verify your account, Xfinity does not give that info out! I been trying to understand how do they get the info? I been calling into the scammers call center and doing the same and giving them addresses but kept telling me no comcast is there, I don’t want to give my real address to them.
@ltdan, the real xfinity support number is (800)934-6489. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/pay-your-bill-using-ivr. When you call this number, the ivr will first ask for your zip code. Knowing your zip code and your phone number (caller ID), the IVR can pull your account info. Now if you’re calling with a different phone number, you are asked to give either the account number or the phone number you used to create the account.
So the scammer will ask for your address, to include your zip code, and put you hold to call the real xfinity, (800)934-6489, to see if you’re an account holder or not.
If you want to screw with them, tell them your not a customer and would be interested in their services!!
