When you respond with “yes,” the scammer will say a higher-up will contact you via Telegram within 5 minutes, and that you can get paid in just 10 minutes.
The “higher-up, Emily,” claimed to be from an “AI robot company” and said that all I needed was a smartphone.
I was then asked to register an account on their website, xaaiook.com, and send a screenshot proving I had successfully set up an account. I used this as an opportunity to send “Emily” a Grabify link
On their fake app, you will be asked to invest in fake robots, and these investments can only be made in the form of cryptocurrency.
According to numerous reports online, the scam was originally known as “Times Trend Media,” the “Apex Alliance Club” or “Optimus Prime,” and had predominantly targeted the Deaf community
