Strange. It is just a coincidence, the victim Ms Tina Kumar is of Indian origin
Credit card company: “Why didn’t you report the 70 fraudulent cards right away?”
Me: “The criminals were spending less than my girlfriend does.”
Let’s just say, I feel bad for her mailman…
Very likely she was a victim of some scam where she ended up giving her banking info to the criminals. The most concerning part is how the bank approved so many cards. This reminds me of one recent documentary by CBS news where one money mule has a job offer from a bank. So a possible link here.
