Would a virtual browser leak anything onto my computer?

I personally don’t want to use VM’s because well, my computer is slow and it takes a LOT of time to make one. If I were to find pop ups on a virtual browser, would it harm my computer in anyway?

@Pesuto#13195 Depends, sometimes they increase your RAM usage so your browsers crash BUT most don’t. If you don’t want to use VM’s, how are you baiting scammers? Not with your real PC, right?

If you turn on shared folders on vmware then it is possible for the malware to spread to the host machine. So before you

Open a malicious file turn off file sharing before you do it. Just to be safe.
