Hello there,
I am having some troubles getting GeoIP setup on Wireshark. The Wireshark program is fully installed and so are all of the GeoIP databases. I have followed this tutorial word by word: https://wiki.wireshark.org/HowToUseGeoIP But I still cannot get it to work.
In the Endpoints menu, there are "Country", "City", "AS Number" & "AS Organization" tabs that are blank with underscores (screenshots listed below). I do not have any map button; just a Copy, Close and Help button (Does not show anything useful).
With the Display Filters turned on (ip.geoip.country == "India") it does not show anything but shows a red circle in the bottom left with the 2 errors "3203 SSL: TLSCiphertext length MUST NOT exceed 2^14 + 2048" & 3072 TCP: New fragment overlaps old data (retransmission?).
Any help on this would be appriciated :) , Screenshots are below.
