On my second call, a guy answered as “Jan” believe it or not.
The only time I have heard of a guy named “Jan” is the duo Jan and Dean from the 1960s who were two men that were pioneers of the California sound and vocal surf music styles popularized by the Beach Boys.
Who knows, maybe this criminal man was trying to pronounce a different fake first name but mispronounced it as Jan.
