Additional information about this scam:
- I was on Facebook and saw these clearly fake ads for Facebook messages (Image Below if curious)
- It then redirected to the amazing Windows Defender popups saying to call Windows Support at +1 888-793-7961 (Screenshot below as well)
Note: When calling on a voIP (with my voice changer) I got busy tones, and “All circuits are busy” So I call on my burner cell phone on Verizon, call goes through just fine.
Since I scam bait as a woman, I couldn’t do much and just pulled fake stuff saying I’m the son and how she’s not home, the guy said she needs to call back because it’s a “hacking matter”, I can’t call back exactly, but feel free to screw with them, just note voIPs may not work.
