This looks like Deevaar’s one. False alarm?
@JimBrowning11#24004 ive posted their number million times but i didnt know deevaar posted it
they answer occasionally now as “yahoo suppowte”
@JimBrowning11#24004 Hey Jim ![]()
good number, we spent about an hour talking about each other’s moms once he realized that the scam wasn’t going anywhere XD
It just tries to full screen when you click anywhere on the page making you think the page is actually from microsoft.com
I am noticing that many tech support scammer pages are being hosted on public web services such as AWS (Amazon Web Services, uses domains amazonaws.com or cloudfront.net) and Google Cloud (googleapis.com)
@Shrrade#23999 I just called them, baited for about on hour, dude is pretty smart, didn’t know it was a VM, called him out, he gave me his sob story about he tried getting a job but he cant. Hes is a cool dude pretty easy to bait just make sure you have the window open. they use fastsupport to connect.
@atomicdragon136#24104 yeah, anything thats free or almost so…
@willisdyk1#24164 Not all free, but I have also seen a scam on Google Sites which is free (I don’t have a screenshot, but it looked very bogus).
I just checked the site out, Chrome immediately knew that it was a deceptive site, and then when I demanded it let me through to the site, my secuwity software joined in, and warned me as well. im surprised the site’s still accessible lol
