I was just wondering whats the best way to go about getting a site taken down.?
usually finding the host of the company tell them this site they are using is a scam. other than that i dont know much about the other way. like if godaddy is host to a scam, need to contact them so they can look into it.
I have reported to these and had phishing sites taken down in a matter of hours.

Scamming "display" sites are a little different from phishing sites, since phishing is obvious when they are impersonating a company. Scamming sites require a bit of proof, like pointing out deceptions, fake addresses, constant number changing and most important how they are running the scam. Recordings and screenshots are good for proof.
In addition to those mentioned, you can also submit suspect websites to Web Browser and Search Engine sites.
