What is the financial cost of tools to setup a baiting station

Hello

Am new here it looks like my previous topic got decline for some reason I don’t know why, all I was asking is what is the financial out lay for tools / services to get setup baiting. In like the typical format as you would talk about your PC rig.

I.E
VPS Server $£€
VOIP Services $£€
Telephone No. $£€
Call Cost $£€
SDS Responder $£€

***** Sample list of items I put in so you get the idea ******

I did do a search on here looking for financial outlay on baiting but this seams to be omitted from the various searches I did. Before I go down this rabbit hole I would like to know do I take the Red Pill or the Blue Pill. As I feel this shouldn’t be hidden (odd if it is) new baiters’ should be aware of the potential cost before they engage and get started in my opinion.

It maybe that you can do it all for free, just a few $£€ for a basic tool set or it maybe the case it will cost hundreds of $£€ a month for a more advance setup. I don’t know, that’s why am asking so I don’t get any surprises along the way. It would be useful to know the chargeable tools / services other baiters use, from only doing it a year to someone who has several years experience.

I know that you can probably do baiting for as little or high cost as you like, but what is the common thread behind it, I know there’s a plethora amount of free tools / services out there, but there will be some like VoIP services you cannot avoid. It’s just about having the knowledge of other people who have evaluated this path before and navigating various pit falls. Because if baiting is going to cost thousands of $£€ a month, may be it’s not for me or other new baiters. Knowing the financial outlay before we begin is very important as some people don’t have deep pockets to outlay vast amounts of $£€ (cash).

Please post your chargeable tools and services and level of experience and list what you use, you may even go down the route of an entry level through to advance setup. You may even say I started at this but after 5 years of baiting I have XYZ, but you only really need ABC to get started, more info to evaluate the better.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to post, Zig

Technically you could do baiting completely free, textnow, OBS, virtualbox and windscribe are all free tools that fulfill the “basic” criteria of a bait, now one thing on that list I would change is being able to change numbers, services like twilio and telnyx are popular around the more active baiters because of the pretty good cost for calls and buying numbers, apart from that really the only aspect is making sure your hardware is good enough to run the virtual machine while recording.

Currently, I do it for free. I don’t use a voice changer, and I can still keep them on for well over an hour.
I also have a scam baiting email account, which of course is also free.
I don’t see any large need to pay any money unless you have a very specific service you want.
One of the best scam baiting services I use is called “The Scam Baiting Tool Box”

Watch out Telnyx is watching for new signups and terminating them soon after.

Scammers using service

](Telnyx reviewed by Max Mccahery on 8/16/2023)

Persistent calls from scammers claiming to be “UK Helpline” - Requested numerous times for them to remove my details but I continue to receive scam calls and the numbers are all registered with Telnyx.
In my opinion any company supporting scam operations such as this shouldn’t be allowed to operate.
I noticed another review highlighting the same issue to which the response from Telnyx is ‘report the issue’. Would be better if this company could sort their own mess out.

There probably addressing the issue…
