I was just talking about you, my friend and how I hadn’t seen you around in a few days. Hopefully that’s because you were enjoying yourself and life was giving you lots of reasons to smile.

I hope you are well!!

888-906-1735 is goddamn Ring Central once again! I would recommend writing an email to Brendan Carr about them. He is actually a very sharp guy who is trying to do something about robocalling scammers. I read statements from several attorneys praising his work style and diligence. His email is: [email protected].

@Tillianne @Jhawk @OfclyGoodenough @Boogaloo @T-Rex @Matherchod @SouthernCulture_x @CatMan @HorseVG @LordOfTheRings - your assistance is always appreciated!

I wrote an email to him about them. I would be inclined to use something along these lines, if I were you:

Dear Chairman Carr,

There is a serious concern that I need to share with you. I am writing to bring to your attention serious issues related to RingCentral’s role in facilitating illegal robocalls through its platform. Despite numerous efforts to address this issue through the company’s designated channels for fraud reporting, RingCentral’s response time and track record have been disappointingly poor.

Over the course of our team’s experience with RingCentral, we have used three different email addresses specifically for reporting fraud on their network, but unfortunately, the company has consistently chosen to ignore complaints. Unlike other more reputable VOIP providers, who take immediate action to curb fraud on the same day, RingCentral’s lack of response has allowed countless scams to proliferate on their network.

A recent thread dedicated to the fraud case studies linked to RingCentral can be found here: RingCentral Fraud Response Case Study. This thread highlights a growing number of scams using RingCentral’s platform, many of which appear to be originating from overseas clients.

Given the importance of curbing illegal robocalls and protecting consumers, I respectfully urge you to investigate this matter and encourage RingCentral to take more decisive action. We believe that a proactive response from the FCC could help address this issue more effectively and ensure that all telecom providers, including RingCentral, are held accountable for the services they provide.

Thank you for your attention to this pressing issue. We greatly appreciate the work of the FCC in combating illegal robocalls, and we are hopeful that with your intervention, RingCentral will be compelled to take the necessary steps to address this problem.

Sincerely,

I really think that Ring Central is the new Onvoy on the block! It’s like they are competing for scammers’ business :joy: And then we have “Freaktel” too… don’t get me started on them!

I just went off on a big rant about RingCentral on another thread about 10 minutes ago.

I can’t blame you for that! Here is my list of nasty filthy scumbags: ONVOY/Sinch (the granddaddy-o of all spamming), Ring Central, Fractel, InfoBip/Peerless, Telnyx, Commio and NUSO.

Why you call here…Don’t call on this number please (TN)…now that is an invitation for my call flooder to do exactly that :imp:

This is an amazing lettwr for the Chairman! When i find the time, i too will type an email to Brendan. At the moment, it seems Sinch/Onvoy and Bandwidth are also heavy hitters with helping out scammers. Some of their public response are tiresome as well claiming to have bo responsibilities despite their bumber being verified. If it was spoofed, then why their numbers verified? I will send an email in regards of VOIP attestation and demand a reason of why they are allowed to sell US numbers to
outsiders when it clear that 98% of these consumers are from India and Pakistan. It really makes no sense. Appreciate the email template!

No problem! Happy to help the great cause!
