I keep getting a similar wells fargo phishing text from the same crew to one of my sudo numbers ( a burner number I have for privacy segregation). The phone number is always some voip in Maryland area and the domains are always changing. But the mobile webpage never changes.
I report them to wells fargo via email (https://www.wellsfargo.com/privacy-security/fraud/report/phish) only ever get the automated response thanking me. I also report them to the google phishing webpage reporting thing https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en I've also more recently been advised to have urlscan.io scan the site.
But the thing is if you crawl the domain with a standard browser you get innocuous looking webpages ( most recently imitating an Iowa ice cream parlor , or Ben and Jerrys). However, if you crawl from a phone browser or emulating one in chrome developer mode you see the Wells Fargo themed phishing screens.
Will post images of the mobile page in further comment.
Anyway there was a guy on youtube who showed you how to write python scripts that could automatically send the scammers tons of bogus information. I'd love to do that but don't know how to deal with emulating a mobile browser. Anyone interested in trying to create some python scripts that would flood these scammers site with tons of bogus data to the point that they might as well stop?
