textnow.com needs gmail. To register gmail you need a real phone number.

I like ProtonMail, have a paid account, but they do ask for an email on registration.
Tutanota doesn’t ask for anything, my textnow is linked to a tutanota email.
Also I don't know how, but I did manage to get a google account without phone number. I had tried for a long time to get an anonymous google account, and they always asked for phone number. I tried lots of texting services, and none worked. One day, I was able to create a google account without phone #, I wish I knew how that happened (maybe IP was better liked). Also they keep asking for a phone number, and I almost got locked out, make sure to use two-factor, recovery email, and save recovery passphrase, if you ever are successful.
I still haven't been able to create a anonymous facebook account, they ask for phone, I give them VOIP, then they ask for a picture, I send a picture that I edited and removed exif data, and it never works. Anyone have any tips for FB. I'd like to follow scammers on FB with an anonymous account.

Google Acc without phone number that’s lucky :o I think it’s not possible anymore.
Facebook works for me, I am using several fake email e.g. from ProtonMail. Make sure to upload a pic that shows a face (of someone) and send some friendship requests to some Indians maybe cuz they accept it anyway. I think you need some accepted friendship requests cuz that boosts you credibility level. Few accs have been asking my phone nzmber, I’ve put my secondary number on multiple accs. Ahh and don’t “spam” message people right off the beginning.
