You should post this to HP printer Scam…
New number at https://tors.activetaxt.pro/error1.php : 888-803-2770.
BCM One line
And a few hours later, another one: 888-492-0842.
NEW NUMBER - (888) 490-0638 (BCM One, baiting with virtual machine)
HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:
- The scammer, “David R.,” had me run QuickAssist (l8z01r) and tried to check my browser history to see if I was baiting him, then asked me to log into my nonexistent Turbotax account. He straight-up refuised to “suppoat” me unless I showed him my browser history, so I instead showed him the Bhenchod Song.
- I reset my virtual machine and called the number back. The scammer had me search for QuickAssist (suzph5/“Technical T.”) and performed a Google search for installturbotax.com before running msinfo32 to check if I was running a virtual machine or not.
(888) 490-0638 is no longer in service
These people have so many toll free numbers!
NEW NUMBER - 888-600-0385 (BCM One)
Where are you getting these new numbers? tors.activetaxt.pro is still “broken” for me.
I go one one of their still-active “download turbotax” domains before being transferred to the site to enter the code
New website: https://tx.activatetax.pro/
Update: seems like they are ramping up again for U.S. 2024 tax season.
855-604-7806 “Error code: Error CEX114376”
https://tx.activatetax.pro/error.php?email=president%40whitehouse.gov&code=7897-9659-8635-4651
The site is now redirecting to the official TurboTax website. However, phishing may be involved or the redirection could be subject to change.
Try their redirector website https://tx.newredir.com/ , they often change the target that it points to. Right now it redirects to https://ts.activatetax.pro/Installation-Error-Contact-Support.php?poop (different GET content).
