Wasting scammer's fax machine paper and ink

I received a call from someone claiming to be Amazon saying that they have detected suspicious activity from my account and that it is under review, and that I am required to send some of my personal documents such as driver’s license, passport, a utility bill, and a credit card that I have saved for use on Amazon for “verifying your identity”.

They said I could send it through email or fax, and I said I would send it through fax. So then I thought it would be a good time for trolling, so I searched on the internet for some memes related to Nigerian scams. I compiled about 15 of them into a PDF with 9 pages. I also sent some fake personal documents that look obviously fake: A credit card with the numbers 1234 5678 9101 1121 (and a couple other fake numbers), a ultility bill with the address "9999 Maple Street, New York, NY" that also says that I used 35,000 gallons of water and 3,000 kWh of electricity, and a passport with the name Johny Appleseed with some obvious fake personal details. I don't know where I saved the PDF on my computer, but I will share it once I find it.

Then I sent it. About 30 seconds later, I heard some printer noises on the phone. I was pretty sure they were using a real fax machine. I heard another scammer shout "Who is printing memes?". Then I decided to waste their paper and ink, so I made a 50 page PDF with solid black color pages, and sent it. But when the scammer saw my fake documents, he was like "Are you trying to scam us? If you don't comply with us, you will be reported to the police and you will be arrested". And then I replied "Quit trying to scam innocent people, thief. You should be in jail". I heard another scammer yell "Quit printing all this shit, whoever it is". 20 seconds later, they hung up.

The phone number and fax number is no longer active

@atomicdragon136#70331 haha! Dude that is awesome!

@GrandJury1#70392 I’m very surprised to find someone who actually uses a real fax machine. Most people use virtual fax services nowadays since with today’s technology, printing every fax is not necessary and you can just view and send faxes on a computer.
