I was under the impression that Waredot was a scammer program. I was watching NanoBaiter’s video about the raid.
Their original site got shut down, 404’d but a simple Google search popped up another site. When calling, you hit option 9 (as their menu option is semi-screwed up if you do not enter any option) and it goes to a live agent.
“Thank you for calling support” - no announcing his company or anything. They say that they are computer support. I did ask them if they are Microsoft and he did say they are NOT, so that’s… something I guess?
At any rate, they may be playing it very carefully. I asked them for the name of the company - I told them I had a pop-up on my screen asking to call them.
While they also are registered as an anti-virus company and this company has already got red on its ledger, could anyone give me some education on this saga? Are they still in the scammer business?
