I called the scammers and he said the whole I need gift cards script. I faked walking to Rite-Aid and I didn’t even call him a scammer. I said “there are gift card scams out there and I don’t think you are a scammer”. He\e immediately hung up and didn’t try to convince me otherwise. I called again and before I could say what I wanted refunded he hung up. They are definitely a bunch of coward scammers.
