HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:
- The scammer will answer as “Walmart Customer Suppoat” and falsely claim a “hacker” by the name of “Austin” registered a Walmart account under your name in Ohio, Texas and Albany, New York to make the pre-authorized transaction and register several bank accounts.
- My call was then transferred to the “fraudulent department” of my nonexistent bank, where “Officer Martin White” will ask for my birthday and THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER before falsely claiming there were two additional pre-authorized transactions: $999.99 in Ohio and $1,599 in Texas.
- I never got a call from their “FTC Department.”

Some of them have Nagamese accent (northeast Indians)
