Thought I might post a bit of info of how I scambait and what I use and what I have setup.
Computer info/VM info
I use a custom built PC for everything, the specs are as follows
CPU: Ryzen 9 5900XT
GPU: MSI RTX 3060
Motherboard: MSI B550-A Pro
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2x16GB total 32GB at 3200MT/s
Storage: 2x 512GB NVMe SSDs, 5x 1TB HDDS for a total of 6TB storage across all of my drives
Virtualization: VMWare Workstation Pro 17
VMs I use: NeeP’s Windows 10 scambaiting vm, Kali linux vm (used for anything related to scambaiting on my end such as finding info related to scammers, finding numbers, my email address for website takedown requests, etc is logged in on this vm), custom Windows 11 VM for scambaiting (now that I have tried NeeP’s VM I won’t use this one much)
Audio setup: I use Voicemeeter Potato to handle all my audio. I have 3 inputs , all of my desktop audio typically goes in 1 so that I can play it through the phone call to the scammer if I want to mess around with a soundboard etc while im on a call, my web browser and discord (anything i dont want the scammer to hear if i am playing desktop audio in the call), and my third input is my sip softphone. For my microphone I actually have 2 that I use, I use a cheap USB microphone on an arm thats mounted to my desk for things like discord and for obs, and I use the crappy mic on my Razer Barracuda X for calls.
Calling:
I use 3 different methods of calling with a total of 4 US numbers. My main calling method is through a private pbx where I can prefix the scammers number with 9 to change my caller id on the fly to a completely different number from a different area code. the next service i use is freefone.app on their pro plan. it’s cheap, works reasonably well and also recieves sms. the third method is with a physical mobile phone and an american esim. the phone in question is a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra or could even be an iPhone 14 Pro or SE 2020 (depends on what im feeling like 
)
my sip softphone is microsip, i was using 3cx softphone because it is really responsive and works super well with just a keyboard, i can rapid fire numbers really easily while scrolling through a list with my other hand but it gets really annoying if something changes in voicemeeter because it will automatically drop calls if any part of my computers audio setup changes, even devices it is not supposed to care about (any other voicemeeter virtual input or output other than vaio3/ B2/B3. sometimes i have issues with connection to the server with microsip but usually its ok
scambaiting tools:
for my character I have some accounts setup.
I use AOL for my email, and have some other things like Whatsapp setup on the esim number and on the s21 ultra. I have WA and WA Business setup on both of the iPhones for other things so I use the S21 Ultra because it has no other use other than scambaiting.
I’ve also just got accounts for things that scammers have asked me to make, like google accounts, etc in my characters name with his email address on AOL.
