What do you guys suggest as VOIP solution outside the US? Im in Europe and want to call scammers on US toll free numbers. Google voice doesnt work here, FireRTC seems dead
I looked in to those BPX’s but I honestly dont know where to start, I know nothing about VoIP. However, I just discovered my Skype account is still linked to a cellphone number that I abandoned 5 years ago, and I can make 1-800 calls for free from that number. Not sure if scammers will pick up on my EU number, but its worth trying.
Why worry about in/out of US? Setup a server on AWS/DigitalOcean, that’s inside the US, then buy a US VOIP service. Configure your SIP to connect to your server, done & done. You have a working US DID.
Like I said, SIP, BPX, those terms hardly mean anything to me.
But my skype account with defunct mobile number is working fine for free numbers, so that will keep me (and them) busy for now. Its a bit weird microsoft doesnt seem to verify that phonenumber ever, I mean, its been I think 5 years since that number worked.
