VISA Credit Card Scam - Lower APR

I just received a call from 1-800-945-2000 (robo call). When I pressed 1, to connect to them, I was greeted by an Indian scammer.

The scam goes like this - they say you have a VISA card, you pay more than you should, and that your APR is over 10%. Side note, most people pay prime rate plus a percentage, which would make nearly everyone's APR higher than 10%.

When I told him that I dont have a VISA card and was tracing his line, he got irate and called me some curse words, then hung up on me.

In short, they will ask for your credit card number, expiration date, and CVV, so that they can steal your credit card.

I received a call today from 800-945-2000, asking for card information, but I do not have any chase bank account or card. Searched online for this number and found this is the real support phone number of Chase and is being spoofed by spammers. Be careful and I have reported this number.
