Between my wife and I, both seniors, we get more than our share of inbound scam calls. Since calls are inbound, I am constrained on the amount of abuse that I dish out (most of the time, anyway). Lately, I throw in the question, “What name do you show on your VICIdial screen?” They don’t like it. Some hang up abruptly. This morning one guy answered, “How do you know we use VICIdial?” “Are you in India?”
