Out of curiosity, what about this is a scam? This seems to be legit.

For the record, this site is run by Veterans AID PAC, quoted in the article:

@sweetener#126499 appearing legit is how the best scams work. Thank you @kenzo#126503 for the info.

This organization makes robocalls spoofed numbers. They want your credit card.

PACs can send there money just about anywhere to support their "cause." 99.9% of the money collected goes to "administrative fees." They use veterans as a cause to fill their pockets.

Real charities do not operate like this. All these guys have is a call center and shiny website.
