They are selling “Information protection plans, like LifeLock” and if I buy the service, they’ll give me $100 off.
I was very polite, tried to find out some more information, and the rude woman called me a name and hung up on me.
Obviously quite deceptive, at best…
Just as a side note, I asked to speak to a supervisor. She told me that they would send me the $100 No questions asked, but I had to give them my credit card information, cuz they charge $1.99. So I asked her to just deduct it from the hundred, and send me $98.01. “If you don’t want to give your credit card information I understand. Then I would need the information from your banking account”
