Verizon is one of the nation’s largest carriers but facilitates fraud.
Different email addresses were given by Verizon via email only to be told to forward all scam/spam calls to 7726.
Although Verizon does handle fraud by simply having their customers forward all spam/scam text messages and numbers to 7726, this does nothing for people outside of the Verizon eco-system.
The numbers in question do not appear to be investigated or taken down for fraud and the scammers are still able to use the number to defraud people.
