literally 2 and a half hours into the call and still going, been transferred 4 times this is amazing, they are so clueless and nothing they say makes sense, also got one of their cell phone numbers 8182756102
The 316 number is full of fools, I’ve had them on the line for over 3 hours while I wait in line at the bank. They are very desperate it seems and haven’t hung up once since I told them I was an 75 year old woman with $50000 in the bank.
@thisismyjob#110079 WOW!!! Great job!!!
@Tridazm#110080 They are scum…trying to scam an elderly woman SMH…

@NikkivsScammers#110094
Hello could you please verify the 800 642 0918 again?
They seemed like a legit representative from Life Protect 24/7 and now I am scared of getting reported for harassing a legit business
@1888TechLineOfficial#110937
So there’s likely no risk of me getting in trouble, correct?
Sorry, I am just now seeing this @apuapustaja#110942 , @1888TechLineOfficial#110947 is right. They are a scam, so you’re good to go! ![]()
When you wind up with a lead generator, which is an advertising IVR put on to phone numbers that are parked (numbers that are not being rented by a telephone subscriber), the advertising IVR has any number of ads on it.
The ads come in the form of bogus surveys. "Do you own a television in your home? Press 1 if you own a television in your home."
There is nothing in the law that says you must answer bogus surveys correctly.
Further, the party that the other end paid to to receive calls like this via the lead generator. By advertising on a lead generator you just asked anyone to call you for any reason.
Lead generators used to (and some still do) make thousands of outbound calls. Lead generator IVR bots were some of the first annoying mass robocalls of the 90s and they are what caused the TCPA act to be created. Congress has had a particular hatred of them. Lead generator bots appeared early in the days of VOIP and they were being launched by start-up VOIP carriers and others were built by people who put together some pre-DAHDI cards and used ports to war dial. Caller ID did exist then but call blocking wasn't a widespread thing, so millions of people were sitting at home with their landine telephone ringer going off or having to put the phone off hook just in order to watch tv and eat dinner.
The reason why some lead generator bots make outbound calls is to fill promised quotas to customers. Some of them make a bogus guarantee to deliver a certain number of hot leads a week/month to customers. When they're falling behind on that quota, then the illegal TCPA-violating outbound calls spin up to generate some call flow.
I look at it this way: they spam my phone nonstop. I have no qualms spamming them right back.
They love to lecture me about making prank calls and questioning my life choices. This is coming from people who robocall my phone 24/7 and harass people whose numbers are on the Do Not Call list.
In short, they are scum. Spam those bastards to hell.

@Ricardobot#110099 these are the backup numbers of 18006420918: 18004101660 & 18007126600
When a scammer states on the phone: this call is no longer productive is an indication they're about to hang-up ;)
After calling in, you hit the main IVR and then hitting # cycles you through the various section of scams being plyed within the same contact center. IMHO the roadside assistance scam is the most easiest scam team to drive nuts :D
