Hello? Hi. This is Alicia. How are you today? I am calling because we have sent you several notifications on extending your car warranty, but we haven’t heard back. And this is one of the last courtesy calls to let you know that you can still keep your vehicle under coverage. So would you like to to know more about your options? Hello? Are you there? Hello?

Scammer will answer as “Alicia,” a prerecorded voice who will transfer you to Robert from “Vehicle Services,” a subsidiary of Vehicle Protection Group, LLC, a fraudulent auto service contract company that also does business under the name of “the Protection Group.” He will ask for your car’s make, model and mileage, as well as your ZIP code, as your vehicle’s “out of warranty.”

In order to “qualify” for full coverage, your car must be in complete working order without any aftermarket installations. I gave false information, and he qualified me for “full coverage” that expires on February 26, 2027 or whenever my odometer reaches 120,000 miles, “covering” all major components like your:

  • Engine
  • Transmision
  • Drive Axle
  • Suspension
  • Heating
  • AC
  • Brakes
  • Fuel
  • Electricial

I “qualified” for the lowest deductible of $100, then he transferred me to the company’s “finance specialist” who tried to sign me up for a $195/month contract through one of two companies:

Vehicle Protection Group is not BBB-accredited, as it has a grade of F alongside several complaints regarding “Motor Vehicle Services” postcards and high-pressure telemarketing schemes alongside the blatant refusal to cancel services or issue refunds. The BBB also issued a warning to consumers about their fraudulent and illegal mailing practices.

Similar complaints are found on Royal Administration Services BBB listing, mainly regarding refusal to cover repairs as advertised. These complaints also reveal that Royal’s fraudulent warranties were handled through Carchex, a BBB-accredited extended warranty service contract company located at 118 Shawan Rd STE 210, Hunt Valley, MD 21030-1318

The same also holds true for Omega Home & Auto Care, and even Carchex themselves were review bombed for fraudulent coverage.

Royal Administrative Services was subject to several lawsuits for violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) in the states of Alabama, Massachusetts, Nevada and Texas.

Cases were also filed against Carchex in the state of Maryland.

Calls are first picked up by “Alicia White,” a prerecorded female voice who will transfer your call to a “specialist” from a Pakistani call center doing business as the “Vehicle Service Department.” The scammer will ask for the make, model (2009 or newer) and mileage of your vehicle before transferring you to their “senior coverage specialist,” who claims to work for a corporate office with an A+ grade with the Better Business Bureau whilst being associated with your vehicle’s manufacturer.

They will claim you qualify for their “highest level” of “coverage,” a 5-year/50,000 mile Deluxe plan from Enterprise Financial Group, a fraudulent auto warranty processing company by John Pappanastos, who currently serves as the company’s CEO and President.

They are located at 122 W Carpenter Fwy Fl 6th, Irving, TX 75039-2010

The company was subject to insurance fraud lawsuits in the state of Oklahoma and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.

The company was also named in an ongoing California TCPA lawsuit alongside Omega Auto Care, Assurant, Inc., and Royal Administration Services, as well as a Florida class-action lawsuit alongside National Repair Protection, LLC
