Vacation Packages at Great Prices

Received a call today on my home landline from 209-297-5864. A woman with a suspicious spiel, “my name is Stephanie from TSG Travel calling about your Florida travel … please grab a pen, my name is Stephanie, my ID number is 1211. … Do you remember paying $699 activation for a vacation package that you never used? Did you forget about it, or did life just catch up with you?”

When I said I forgot about it, please send me a refund, she said it is not refundable but if I paid the final processing fee, they will waive all the penalties and book me for their new 2020 packages, something like 5 different travel destinations in Florida for only $299 for me and $299 for my partner, and 2 other people can join for free. (Sounds too good to be true). She proceeded to pass me on to another person, a Supervisor who after a few questions tried to pass me on to their verification department. When I said my name is Rodger Tenfore, and not the one on their list, she hung up.

Since this was a targeted telemarketing call, and they had my real name and street address, probably bought from a list of timeshare owners, I couldn't mess with them too much. I reported their phone number to the national do not call complaint site.

Phone number: 209-297- 5864 (I called this number from my Textnow account, said I had a missed call from them, the lady who picked up said that there is no account in their record from my number and hung up.)

Possible website: www.travelselectgroup.com (if the caller was truly from TSG).
